I love weaving (that’s what I’m doing on this photo)
About
I was born and raised in Poland, rummaged through forests, made art and studied graphic design there.
I visited Sydney in my early 20s, initially for a short period of time.. then kept on staying, moving around, living and working in NSW, NT, WA and finally SA - it’s been 8 years in Australia now!
I have been freelancing as a graphic designer and visual artist for over 12 years now.
I found my next passion in combining arts and curiosity for human beings. My art psychotherapy studies and work helped me explore challenging relationships (also with myself!) and manage my physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing better.
I now work as an arts therapist in a mental health clinic, facilitate 1:1 and group sessions and offer my services to people who are seeking support in their challenges.
Arts Therapy
The process looks like this:
1. You reach out - I respond.
2. We have an initial chat about your goals and intentions. I gather information and may ask some sensitive questions about you. It’s all confidential, so your details are safe with me.
3. We agree on a date and time to meet.
4. I send you a service agreement to sign so that we both feel comfortable and clear.
5. We meet and begin exploration.
When we meet, we can talk, experiment and play. I will bring different art materials and media to try out, but there won’t be pressure to achieve anything in particular. We might use mindfulness techniques. At your pace. You don’t have to be good at art to engage with it.
Feel free to ask me questions, I might have answers!
